I've used the services on this business since I moved to Texas back in 2014, after dealing with another non-ethical shops a friend of mine recommended to visit Don Juan (Dearing Automotive), ever since I don't need another mechanic. They have been so professional and all services are guaranteed; After 10+ years I stick with them, they have serviced all of my cars and not only that they are good advisors when I need to buy a used car. I highly recommend their services, you won't regret. My Dad used to say: "Son, in your life time, you should have 3 important people : a good Doctor, a good priest and a good Mechanic" - I've found the last one in Austin, TX. - Dearing Automotive.

Highly recommend this local shop I took my car here on its last leg. After wrestling with a problem for weeks I took a chance on them. The staff are helpful and were able to diagnose and fix the problem without costing me an arm and a leg. Good people here, I’ll stop back if I need any work.

Honest shop that stands behind their work: I’ve had a great experience with Dearing Automotive. I recently brought my vehicle back in after having my front brakes done about 10 months ago, and they immediately took care of it under warranty without any hassle. They found that the issue was due to sticking slider pins, which caused uneven wear, and they replaced everything and made sure it was done right this time. What really stood out to me was how they handled it. No pushback, no excuses, just owned it and fixed it the right way. That kind of honesty is hard to find. Juan, the owner, is very friendly and clearly knows his stuff. Jackie in the office is also great to work with, very kind, informative, and keeps you in the loop the whole time. Overall, they make the whole process smooth and stress free. They also took the time to look over a few other things on the vehicle and gave me straightforward advice without trying to upsell anything unnecessary. If you’re looking for a shop that’s fair, knowledgeable, and actually stands behind their work, I’d definitely recommend them.

WORST MECHANIC SHOP IN AUSTIN! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Kept my car for 4 months didn’t fix a damn thing gave it back me only for it to go out again a week later. Called Jackie to explain they left me in the dust! If you can’t fix it - be honest and tell the customer- 2100$ they got from me. No explanation - no refund no call back! BEWARE! I hope y’all shut down!
